The London congregation held their first Life Club on February 27th. It is estimated that over 60 people from the congregation attended, with many visitors from other areas as well, making it one of the largest attended clubs held to date.
Table Topics were kindly provided by Gemma Brown, with speeches being given by Sophie Turfus, Annabelle Woolford, Antoine Lightbourne and Comet Chukwurah. With such a large audience, it was impressive to see all those who gave speeches, contributed their thoughts during table topics, doing so with such confidence and articulation.
Cups were awarded to Gemma Brown (Best Contribution), for her table topics, Sophie Turfus (Best Achievement) in recognition of her achieving her doctorate in Forensic Science and her speech on the day looking at the evidence of ancient Chinese writings that refer to the food of Noah. The best speech was awarded to Antoine Lightbourne for his insightful and well delivered speech on goal setting.
Following the club there was an outing that included ten-pin bowling as well enjoying the food at All Stars Lanes. Around 30 people participated in this event which gave a congenial ending to an action packed day.
