Life Club Activity Weekend

The second Life Activity Weekend inScotlandtook place on 3 - 5 June at the Lendrick Muir Activity Centre.

Participants enjoyed many different activities including beach volleyball.

In the Club the Chairperson Sam Whiting said ‘God gives us all we need to get through life’ and mentioned Romans 8:31 ‘If God is for us, who can be against us?’.

Fiona Jones presented table topics; two of her questions were: ‘Who is your favourite Bible character?’ and ‘How can we have a positive impact on the next generation?’.

Ashley Thompson’s speech was titled: ‘God has a plan for you’; she quoted Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you a not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’.

Rosalyn Whiting spoke about the importance of hobbies as they increase skills and give opportunities for new friendships.

The best speaker cup was given to Benjamin Jones who gave an amazing speech about snails.

The Director, James Henderson, said the Club was ‘priceless as it provides a good foundation for all aspects of life including home, business and Church’.
